Delete Your Account

1. Delete From Within the App

You can permanently delete your MyGGV account and all associated data directly from the app, at any time:

1. Open MyGGV and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm by following the on-screen prompts (a double confirmation is required to prevent accidental deletion).

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

2. Request Deletion by Email

If you can no longer access the app, you can request account and data deletion by emailing us at support@myggv.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

3. What Gets Deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all of the personal data we hold about you, including:

• Your profile (name, email, username, avatar, and contact links)
• Your messages, chat activity, and private conversations
• Your marketplace listings, businesses, services, and forum posts
• Your coins, rewards, referrals, and game scores
• Your notifications and location associations
• Your authentication identity with our login provider (Clerk)

This action is permanent and irreversible. Shared community structures (such as forum threads created by others) are not affected.

4. Data Retention

We do not retain your personal data after deletion, except where we are required to keep limited records to comply with legal obligations (for example, tax or fraud-prevention requirements). Any such records are kept only for as long as the law requires and are then permanently deleted.
